The Slovakian Petra Vlhova won the giant slalom in Semmering, Austria

The Slovakian racer Petra Vlhova won the giant slalom in Austrian ski resort Semmering, Friday 28 December 2018. This was her first victory at giant slalom in the World Cup. Vlhova was followed by the German Viktoria Rebensburg and the French Tessa Worley.

The main favorite, the American Mikaela Shiffrin, got only the 5th place. The young Austrian Stephanie Brunner had a good race and obtained the 4th place.
