The Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal won today the super-G race in Italian ski resort Val Gardena-Groden.
A new race in the Alpine Ski World Cup took place today in Italian ski resort Val Gardena-Groden. The start was at 2.000 m and a temperature at -9C, the arrival was at 1400 m and -7C.
The Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal won the race , followed at a small difference by the Italian Christoph Innenhofer. The third place was occupied by another Norwegian, Kjeltil Jansrud.
Tomorrow Val Gardena will host the men downhill.
