The German Arnd Peiffer is biathlon world champion at 20 km. individual in Ostersund 2019. The weather conditions were extremely bad, with heavy snowfall and wind. In spite of this, Arnd Peiffer won the world champion title with amazing shots and fast run.

The Biathlon World Championships 2019 that take place in Swedish city Ostersund goes on today with men individual 20km. The German Arnd Peiffer won the gold medal. His 20 perfect shots combined with excellent run gave them the world champion title. This is the second most important title won by Peiffer after the Olympic sprint gold medal won in 2018.

The Bulgarian Vladimir Iliev finished on the second place and won the silver medal. It is an exceptional succes for this athlete and for Bulgarian biathlon.

The Norway`s Tarjei Boe got the bronze medal. His brother, Johannes Boe failed many shots and his result was very modest. The French superstar Martin Fourcade had modest shots and had no chance for a great result as ussually.
