Start in the new season 2018-2019 in Luge World Cup in Igls, Austria

Luge World Cup started in late November 2018 in Igls. The Tyrolean village located 5 km. from Innsbruck is the place where a new luge World Cup season starts since many years.

Austrian double men Steu and Koller won both, the normal race and the sprint, their victories were incredible, especially agains the German teams Benecken-Eggert and Wendl-Artl.

Austrian luger Wolfgang Kindl has also won the sprint and took the third place in the normal race.

The German Natalie Geisenberger has won the both individual women races, the normal race and the sprint. Each time she was followed by another two German lugers.

The World Cup will move in Canada and USA for next races, after that, lugers will be back in Europe.
