Petra Vlhova and Marco Schwarz won the parallel slalom in Oslo city event

The Slovakian Petra Vlhova and the Austrian Marco Schwarz won the parallel slalom in Oslo, Norway, today, 1st January 2019. The first Alpine Ski World Cup city event of this new year 2019 took place in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, in Holmenkollen arena.

The American Mikaela Shiffrin, the big favorite of the race, couldn`t beat the Slovakian Petra Vlhova and took the second place. The third position was occupied by the Swiss Wendy Holdener who lost in the semifinal against Shiffrin.

The men competition finished with a big surprise, the winner was the Austrian Marco Schwarz. He beat the British Dave Ryding, the one who beat the Austrian superstar Marcel Hirscher. The third position was got by the Swiss Ramon Zenhaeusern.
