The Norwegian cross-country team got two wins in Bavarian winter sports resort Oberstdorf. FIS cross-country Tour de ski had today, 3 January 2019, the second day spend in Oberstdorf. Both races, women and men pursuit, were won by Norwegian skiers.
10 km. women pursuit was won by the Norwegian Ingvild Oestberg, followed by the Russian Natalia Nepryaeva and the American Jessica Diggins. The Norwegian racer had no trouble to win this race.
15 km. men pursuit was won by the Norwegian Johhanes Klaebo, followed by the Russian Sergey Ustiugov. Another Russian athlete Aleksander Bolshunov finished the third. Klaebo started the first, but Ustiugov run faster and became the leader. Both Ustiugov and Klaebo run together before the end of the race. The final sprint was won by the young Norwegian.
Next race in the Tour de ski will take place in Italian resort Val di Fiemme on Saturday, 5 January 2019.
