The Finals of Alpine Ski World Cup season 2018-2019 take place this week in Soldeu, Andorra. Today, this winter sports resort held ladies and men downhill races.

The Austrian Mirjam Puchner and the Italian Dominik Paris won this downhill race. Puchner claimed an amazing, unexpected victory ahead other favorite athletes.

The big winners of the day were the Austrian Nicole Schmidhofer and the Swiss Beat Feuz who won the downhill crystal global in the Alpine Ski World Cup 2018-2019.

Nicole Schmidhofer got the downhill crystal globe after a splendid season. She was the best downhill woman racer. Beat Feuz was very constant during the season and won the downhill globe ahead the Italian Dominik Paris.
