Marco Odermatt wins the downhill in Wengen, the Swiss luxury ski resort in Bernese Oberland. The race is one of the most known is the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Wengen, a small village in Swiss Alps, helds three stages of Alpine Skiing World Cup every year on mid January: super giant, downhill and slalom. Lauberhorn slope helds the longest downhill in the World Cup.
The Swiss superstar Marco Odermatt had a brilliant race on 18th January 2025 and won the downhill in an amazing way.
Franjo von Allmen, Odermatt`s teammate, arrived on the second place.
