Marcel Hirscher obtained his 9th win in Adelboden, Switzerland

Marcel Hirscher obtained his 9th win in Adelboden, Switzerland, on Sunday, 13 January 2019. He won the slalom race devellopped in FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup and got the 67th success in his carreer. Hirscher won the double (giant slalom and slalom) for the third time
in Adelboden . No other male skier had obtained more victories in Adelboden than Hirscher.

The event took place on a heavy snowfall, but Adelboden`s event was not cancelled. After the first race, the Austrian Marcel Hirscher ended the third. He had again an amazing second race and finished in the first position. The French Noel Clement was the second and the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen got the third place. The Austrian Marco Schwarz who finished the first after the first race, could not end the second race.

Marcel Hirscher has a fantastic World Cup season again and is the overall leader, slalom discipline leader and giant slalom leader.
