Anastasiya Kuzmina and Johannes Boe won Biathlon World Cup sprint in Ruhpolding, Germany

The Slovakian Anastasiya Kuzmina and the Norwegian Johannes Boe won biathlon sprint in Ruhpolding, Germany, today, 17 January 2019. Chiemgau Arena in Ruhpolding hosts the Biathlon World Cup from 17 to 20 January 2019. First races were women and men sprint.

The Slovakian Anastasiya Kuzmina won women 7.5 km sprint without problems, she had a very good evolution. The Italian Lisa Vitozzi arrived the second and the Sweden Hanna Oeberg finished on the third place. Unfortunately, no German athlete ended on the podium.

The Norwegian Johannes Boe arrived the first after the 10 km. run, while his brother, Tarjei Boe, finished the second. The German Benedikt Doll arrived on the third position.

On Friday the Biathlon World Cup will continue in Ruhpolding with men relay.
