Germany ski jumping ladies team won the world champion title in Seefeld. Today, 26 February 2019, Nordic Ski World Championships, held in Tyrolean ski village Seefeld, gone on with ski jumping ladies team competition. This competition took place for the first time at world championships.
The weather was perfect for the event, about 10C, sunny and easy wind. Many fans filled Seefeld arena.
The German ladies team won the world champion title having the best jumps. Ramona Straub had excellent jumps and helped the German team a lot. Carina Vogt hasn`t managed good jumps. Germany won the third gold medals at ski jumping competitions at these World Championships. Markus Eisenbichler and men team won gold medals on large hill in Innsbruck. In other words, Germany is the best team at ski jumping at present.
Austria won the silver medal fighting with Norway for the second place even on last jump.
Norwegian team finished on the third place. Maren Lundby had the longest jump in the competition.
The ski jumping competition will go on tomorrow with ladies individual event.
