Germany ski jumping team won gold at the World Championships Seefeld 2019

Germany ski jumping team won gold at World Championships Seefeld 2019, on Sunday 24 February. The competition took place on Bergisel large hill in Innsbruck. The weather was perfect for an amazing competition.

Germany had an excellent team with Markus Eisenbichler, the new world champion at the large hill, Richard Freitag, Karl Geiger and Stefan Leye. All their jumps were very good and they had no problem to finish ahead of Austria and Japan. Markus Eisenbichler had the last jump in the competition and he got the second gold in only two days.

Austrian team with Stefan Kraft, Daniel Huber, Philipp Aschenwald and Michael Hayboeck won the silver medal.

Japan finished on the third place.

Today was a perfect day for Germany that won two gold medals. Both world champions titles came in team competitions, nordic combined and ski jumping.
