German luge double men team, Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken, won in the Bavarian locality Königssee the race develloped in the Luge World Cup. The bad snow disturbed the event, but it has even taken place in spite of hard meteo conditions. Eisarena that hosts the luge track was full of fans.
Germans Eggert and Benecken won the race being followed by another German team, Tobbias Arlt and Tobbias Wendl. The third place was occupied by the Austrian double Thomas Steu and Lorenz Koller.
