FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Kitzbühel 2022

The famous Tyrolean ski resort hosted the FIS men`s Alpine Ski races between 21-23 January 2022. For the first time the Super-G was replaced with a second downhill.

Hahnenkamm Rehnen

The first downhill took place on Friday. The Norwegian Aleksander Aadmodt Kilde won the race, followed by the Austrian Olympic Champion Matthias Mayer and the Swiss Beat Feuz. The overall leader, the Swiss Marco Odermatt, arrived the fourth.

The slalom race took place on Saturday instead Sunday, due to heavy snowfall of Saturday. Ganslern slope hosted the slalom like every year. The English Dave Ryding won the race, this being his first victory in the World Cup. The Norwegians Lucas Braathen and Henrik Kristoffersen arrived on the second and third place.

The Sunday`s downhill finished the Hahnenkamm 2022 races. The Swiss Beat Feuz won beyond his teammate Marco Odermatt. The Austrian Daniel Hemetsberger arrived the third.

The next men`s race will take place in Austrian ski resort Schladming with the night slalom.
