The German superstar Eric Frenzel is LH individual gundersen 10km world champion in Seefeld, Austria. Nordic Ski World Championships held in Seefeld, Austria, gone on today with first nordic combined final.

LH individual gundersen 10 km took place in Innsbruck for ski jumping and in Seefeld for cross-country. The ski jumping took place in Innsbruck because Seefeld has only a normal ski jump, not a large one.

The German superstar Eric Frenzel had the best jump and started the first cross-country run. Four athletes fought for the gold medal. Eric Frenzel crossed the finish line ahead the Norwegian Jan Schmid who got the silver medal. The Austrian Franz-Josef Rehrl won the bronze medal. Rehrl won his first world champion medal. The German Eric Frenzel hasn`t won any competition this season in the World Cup, but he became world champion again after excellent jump and run. The Austrian Mario Seidl finished the fourth.

Eric Frenzel, LH individual gundersen 10 km world champion in Seefeld 2019, is three times winner at Seefeld triple. Seefeld triple is a three days nordic combined competition that takes place in Seefeld each year. This year the competition was cancelled due to World Championships.

The next event will be on Sunday, 24 February 2019, the team sprint HS competition.
