Daniel Yule wins Kitzbühel slalom 2020

Daniel Yule wins Kitzbühel slalom 2020 today, 26 January. The FIS World Cup Hahnenkamm alpine ski races 2020 finished with the slalom race. The Ganslern slope helded this competition.

The young Norwegian Lucas Braathen won the first run, followed by Yule and the Austrian Mario Matt. Braathen started the 34th and had an unexpected fastest run. Unfortunately, his short experience in the World Cup did not help him to keep the advantage after the second run.

One of the main favorites, the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen, didn`t manage good runs and were not on the final podium. In spite of this, he still keeps the first place at overall podium and at slalom podium.

The Swiss Daniel Yule had a very good second run and got the first place after the two runs. He defeated the Austrian Marco Schwarz who arrived the second and the French Clement Noel who got the third position. The 19th years old Lucas Braathen finished on the fourth position and was the biggest surprise of this race.

Clement Noel won the race last year.

The famous Hahnenkamm races 2020 finished. Like every year, it was a beautiful show for ski fans. Hahnenkamm 2020 kings, Jansrud, Mayer and Yule, will fight for new titles in the following races.
