Austrian Marcel Hirscher won for the 5th time the giant slalom in Val d`Isere

Austrian skier Marcel Hirscher won for the 5th time the giant slalom in the French ski resort Val d`Isere.

Hirscher started the first on the run 1 and had the best time until the end of run 1. In the second run he kept the big advantage won in the first run and  got the fifth victory at giant slalom in Val d`Isere.

The second place was occupied by the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen and the third place was occupied by the Swedish Matts Olsson.

Marcel Hirscher is the first at overall in the Word Cup with this new victory.

Tomorrow, 9 December 2018, skiers will play at slalom also in Val d`Isere.
